Felicity has accumulated over 20 years experience working as a Counsellor in government organisations, charities and in private practice. She also spent 6 years working as a Lecturer at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Felicity has facilitated counselling workshops in Sydney and Singapore. She also provides Clinical Supervision to other counsellors who are working in the field. She is highly trained and skilled in Narrative Therapy and delivers her own workshops to Counsellors & Psychologists who are interested in learning this approach.
Felicity is a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Counsellor's & Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA). PACFA & CAPA grant Clinical Membership only to those Counsellors who have a proven extensive history of counselling experience and relevant tertiary qualifications. Felicity obtained a Bachelor of Psychology degree in 1998 from Macquarie University and a Post Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
Alongside her work as a Counsellor, Felicity worked as a Lecturer at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP). She taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students studying counselling, as well as students attaining their registration as a Psychologist. ACAP is one of the most highly regarded private training institutions for Counsellors and Psychologists in Australia.
Evolve Counselling was conveniently located in Manly for many years. Felicity has lived most of her life on the Northern Beaches, but more recently has relocated to the Noosa Hinterland with her husband and two young children. She continues to provide online counselling to people mostly based in Sydney using Zoom.
Felicity has extensive experience providing online counselling. She is highly skilled at minimising the impact of technology on your session and creating a human connection just as if you were sitting together in the room.
